St. Patty's Day and 1st day of Spring

My mom loved the holidays and always made a big deal out of them, so I try to do something as well (with a lot of help from my aunt Mindy who always send packages for the kids with fun shirts and other fun holiday stuff, thanks aunt Minnie :)).

The kids left a shoe outside their bedroom door and the leprechaun came that night and filled it with surprises. He also made us green pancake batter and turned all the milk green, crazy leprechaun! The Saturday before Colorado Springs has a St. Patty's day parade, it was a beautiful day and the kids love it!

March 20th is the first day of spring, we spent it playing in the snow! That's one way to start the spring I guess. It is also my moms birthday. We miss her very much and often wish she was here to celebrate her special day! But we are grateful to celebrate Nana Marsh's birthday! We love you (she is my mom's twin)

Crested Butte 2010

We get to go to Crested Butte each winter and it is always so much fun! Devin's brother and wife live there and they treat us very well!! The kids had so much fun this year, two days of skiing and they couldn't get enough. They caught on a lot faster this year so it made it fun. Devin and I didn't even go ski on our own because it was so much fun to watch them. It is always nice to spend time with Dusty and Annie. Dick and Deta are amazing, they watched Kinley the whole time so we could ski with the older two! We are spoiled for sure!! Here are some pics and video of our fun time!

I want to live near a ski resort so we can do this more then once a year!!
